Rachel Ray’s episode

While working at home, I am afforded the opportunity to watch a little TV throughout my day.  I like to call it “therapy” or a small connection to the outside world.  It is much different working from home then in an office anywhere.  I’ve had to learn and am learning how to allow the Lord to sustain me and fulfill all my needs.  I’ve realized how dependent on human interaction I am.  This is showing me that my Lord is my soure!  Anyway, not why I’m writing…but good stuff none the less.

Today on Rachel Ray I am watching Kate Gosslin of Jon and Kate plus 8.  You all know that I’m a fan of the Gosslins.  I love how real they are.  Not a parent myself, and not even married, so I don’t understand it all…yet I value how they exhibit their life in a real way.  They too know its all about God…and yes, they aren’t perfect!  Its great.  Today on Rachel Ray, Kate said it’s all about the kids.  Regardless of what is happening in the tabloids, whatever “the world” wants to make of it, Kate is handling it with class.  Jon and Kate…I am praying and salute you both for what you do and how you love your children.  Kate said today that its neat to watch her children grow together, yet they have eight different personalities and how she loves to bring those forth in each of them.  Kate…keep up the good work.  The Lord bless you and know that He is singing over you with His love!

On another note…Rachel is going to be doing a segment (called “can I wear?”) on chosing the right wedding dress…I’m interested to see what will be shared here too!    Advice #1 – get ideas from pictures first.  #2 – Set yourself up for success…set the budget for the dress and then go to a store with a similar budget….Good advice!
