My Back

So tonight I’m laying in bed with a heating pad on my back.  A normal occurance as of the past few years b/c of my stiffness and tightness in my back, especially on tuesday nights after volleyball…the heat helps relax it.  Only this time the heat is for the lump that seems to have resurfaced on my back.  Let me back up, about a year a cyst-like thing grew on my back and in my stubbornness I let it go for about a month, until it go so out of hand I finally went to the doctor.  He said we could take care of it one of two ways, antibiotics or small incision and cut it out.  Since I am no fan of needles or knives coming anywhere close to my body, I opted for the antibiotics.  He said that if those don’t work we’d have to do the surgery.  So I was SOOOO greatful when after the presribed ten day period with the medicine the lump was gone.

Bad news is…its resurfaced.  Only this time I’m not waiting month to have it looked at.  I go in in two days.  I’m just praying for a miracle b/c I REALLY don’t want to have a knife put to my back.

So in the mean time.  I wait…SOME MORE, trying to keep my mind from figuring the worst.
