My Book

Doing all this writing gets me in the mood to write a book.  I think I could write a great book someday on some highly spiritual topic.  The Lord has given me bits and pieces of things that could possibly go into a book one day.  Who knows what I’ll title it. 

BUT, for now I’ve thought about writing another book.  Inspired by Keri Pomerelli’s “If I’m waiting on God, what am I doing in a Christian Chat Room?” I made a list of possible chapters that I’d write about in my book, probably with a similar title.

1. On-line dating, the adventure in the world of window shopping for a husband 
2. Lines spoken to you by well meaning friends, family, and co-workers: 
  -”You have anyone special?”  
  – “There’s this guy you just have to meet” 
  – “The one God give you is going to be SO AWESOME!” 
  – “I just want you to be happy”
3. Standards…too high or too low?
4. Lessons from Ruth (I’ve got to include some spiritual things)
5. Chick Flicks
6. The “List”
7. Finding the one vs. being found by the one
8. Weak Christian men
9. Singles groups (the great divide)
10. Rent-a-Bridesmaid
11. Childhood love…church camp, flashlight tag, and football games

There are other topics and the list goes on.  I hope to one day take each topic/chapter title and delvelop it enough to write about.  I think I’ll start by writing short posts for my blog!
